TrelleborgVibracoustic renamed into Vibracoustic
TrelleborgVibracoustic, the leading supplier of anti-vibration solutions for the global automotive and commercial vehicle industries, is being renamed to Vibracoustic.
TrelleborgVibracoustic was established as a joint venture in 2012. Its two shareholders, Freudenberg and Trelleborg, agreed at that time to use the dual brand name TrelleborgVibracoustic for a transitional period only. With today’s introduction of the new name, the company is underlining its now well-established stand-alone position as the global market leader in automotive anti-vibration solutions.
The new name Vibracoustic signifies the essence of the company’s business, emphasizing key elements of its products: leading-edge solutions to reduce vibration and disruptive noise to enhance driving comfort and safety.
The international renaming process will take place in several steps. While the holding company (formerly TrelleborgVibracoustic GmbH) carries its new name Vibracoustic GmbH with immediate effect, international subsidiaries will use the affix “A company of the Vibracoustic Group” for the time being. Over the coming months, all legal entities will also gradually be renamed to Vibracoustic.
