TrelleborgVibracoustic becomes market leader for AVS in India

TrelleborgVibracoustic, the global market leader for automotive anti-vibration solutions (AVS), is strengthening its Indian business. Following all necessary approvals, TBVC is integrating its activities in India. The former joint venture Sigma Vibracoustic India (SVIL) will be fully integrated in TrelleborgVibracoustic.

The integration was announced today at the two Indian sites in Mohali and Noida. Representatives from TrelleborgVibracoustic and the local management team were present to launch the new organization. In a previous step, TrelleborgVibracoustic had taken over the 50% share of SVIL formerly held by Sigma Corporation.

“The integration of our Indian operations means we also have become the market leader for anti-vibration solutions in India with our workforce of some 1,400 employees”, Hans-Jürgen Goslar, speaker of management board of TrelleborgVibracoustic, said.

“With the joint development and production expertise of TBVC in the Indian market we can now offer both local and global customers even greater flexibility in meeting their specific needs”, Goslar added. As a leading supplier of automotive AVS, TBVC offers its customers an unrivalled global footprint, excellence in R&D and manufacturing, and a leading-edge product line-up for passenger cars and commercial vehicles.
