Global demand for antivibration solutions (AVS) continues to grow and as such both legacy companies recognised the importance of strengthening their global AVS capability whilst streamlining operations. TrelleborgVibracoustic will have the advantage of being able to adopt a specialized, sector focused approach. This will allow faster decision making, greater flexibility and a primary focus on AVS customer needs.

“The joint development and production expertise strengthens our role as a leading trendsetter for global vibration control solutions,” Hans-Jürgen Goslar, Speaker for the Management Board of TrelleborgVibracoustic, commented.

TrelleborgVibracoustic will be headquartered in Darmstadt, but its enhanced global footprint and satellite engineering and design centers will lead to increased local presence, greater accessibility and a faster response to the needs of customers globally.

With more than 8,000 employees at 37 locations in 17 countries the company has an annual turnover in the region of €1.45 billion. Uniting both companies creates a strong environment for shared best practice leading to best in class product design and services and ultimately a sound foundation for future investment.

The Management Board of the new company is equally represented by the two joint venture partners with Hans-Jürgen Goslar and Norbert Schebesta representing Vibracoustic and Jim Law and Lennart Johansson on behalf of Trelleborg Automotive.
